Wrestling fans who have watched the sport for many years understand the impact The Icon had on the industry, and to see him working with the WWE on this video game is a huge coup for the company. WWE 2K15 is coming October 28 to PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, and Xbox One.There are many interesting additions and upgrades to the roster for WWE 2K15, but the most intriguing Superstar making his first appearance in a WWE game is former NWA, WCW and TNA champion Sting.
I would be questioning why 2K Sports would go for a closed door reveal for this one, considering the window for a 2014 release is small at this point, but we will just have to wait and see. Take-Two Interactive held off of revealing the game at E3, so this is most likely the biggest venue they will have to unveil the game. So, what we do not know yet about WWE 2K15 in Gamescom is if attendees will all get to play, or if it will be a closed doors reveal. Plus, they have revealed that the winners will get to play WWE 2K15 as well. They are giving out two five day tickets, which includes food and lodging. A German wrestling fansite, Moonsault.DE, has been promoting a giveaway where they will be sending fans over to Gamescom itself. The other thing is not quite official, but is still quite the find. We would not be surprised if they make the announcement, or at least reveal some of the roster, during the event itself. First off, they have confirmed that the full roster for WWE 2K15 will be revealed at August 16, over the Summerslam weekend.
